Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and self-driven Marketing Manager / Marketing Generalist who thrives in a dynamic startup environment. You will be in charge of all Haos marketing efforts, including demand generation, brand management, email marketing, social media, events, website management, and public relations. This is a key role in growing our brand’s visibility and building a community that startups love.
Your responsibilities:
- Demand Generation Strategy: Create and execute marketing campaigns to attract startups and founders to Haos
- Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all channels and adapt messaging for our audience
- Email Marketing: Plan and run campaigns—from member updates to promotional content
- Social Media: Create and manage content that reflects our community spirit and drives engagement
- Events: Support the Event Manager in organizing and promoting community events (networking, talks, etc.)
- Website: Maintain and optimize the Haos website—focus on usability and fresh content
- Public Relations: Manage press releases and relationships with media outlets to grow our presence
Who you are:
- Fluent in Serbian and English (written and spoken)
- 3+ years of marketing experience (non-agency)
- Confident in taking full responsibility for marketing without needing constant oversight
- Able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with ease
- Not afraid of challenges and comfortable in fast-paced settings
- Passionate about startups and well-versed in the startup ecosystem

- You’re looking for a “9 to 5” job just for the paycheck
- You’re not used to working in a high-performance environment
- You’re not genuinely passionate about marketing and just want to “do something creative”
- You’re only interested in social media and lack experience in other marketing areas
- You struggle to give and receive quick feedback and adjust strategies on the fly
